“Life is short, but there is always time enough for courtesy.”
― Ralph Waldo Emerson
Ever since she was little, Songbird has sent Thank You cards for birthday gifts. Before she could write, I would have her color on the card. Then, when she learned to write her name, she would sign them.
Now that she is capable of composing sentences, I help her fill in the blanks.
It’s never too early to grow good manners. If you have enough time to open and play with new toys, then you have enough time to thank the people who gifted them to you.
No need to hunt for special cards — these are just a pack of blank notecards I purchased and then printed the fill-in templates inside. Feel free to use the JPEG version of my text below to create your own!
