I love giving personal gifts to kids. And every kid I know is proud of “their” letter. What better than to give them a new shirt emblazoned with their personal alphabet identifier!

1.  Use a freezer paper stencil in a fun font to paint the letter onto lightweight fabric. Cut out.

2.  Cut a piece of fusible web as close to the letter shape as possible.

3.  Position the letter with the fusible web beneath it on the t-shirt.

4.  To protect your iron from the paint and any stray fusible web, place a sheet of parchment paper over the letter. Then iron on high (no steam) until letter is completely adhered.

5.  To add a little detail and further secure the letter, sew a triple stitch outline.

Perfect for babies and big kids alike.
